Backlash proudly announces the launch of Brave Space, a storytelling night empowering, celebrating and highlighting diverse voices. Partnering with Backlash Productions, Theater Bellevue is hosting this queer-centered event, with the first Brave Space kicking off on 17 October and a second edition on 19 December at the brand-new Speakeasy venue.

Brave Space is all about acts of bravery, experimentation, and inclusivity. It offers a platform for storytellers to share unique, untested ideas from a queer perspective. Hosted by Backlash’s own, dynamic Joseph Kearney, the night will feature talented performers taking to the mic.

The first Brave Space took place on 17 October to a packed audience. Performers included Indie Nile, Aoife Dunn, Sara Rosa Espee, Jullian Williams and Shivam Mishra who wowed audiences with heartfelt, funny and thought provoking stories.

With a second Brave Space night set for December 19, this is your chance to experience raw, fresh performances in an intimate, plug-and-play setting. The storytelling begins at 8:45 p.m., and space is limited, so come early and be part of this exciting new venture at Theater Bellevue.
