We are thrilled to announce that Here Lies Lola has been awarded the Rozefilmdagen Fiction Prize 2026.

The prize includes €15,000 in funding, as well as mentorship and guidance from the Rozefilmdagen team to support the next stage of the film’s development and festival journey. The prize also includes a premiere at Rozefilmdagen 2027.

Here Lies Lola is a short fiction film exploring queer identity, grief, community, and chosen family. Winning this award is an incredible vote of confidence in the project and the talented cast and crew who have helped bring Lola’s story to life.

We are deeply grateful to the jury and the Rozefilmdagen team for their support and belief in the film. This recognition will help us complete the project and ensure that Lola’s story reaches audiences both in the Netherlands and beyond.
