Exciting news alert: “Weglopers,” has made the cut for the 15th LGBT+ Film Festival Poland. This festival is a big deal in Central and Eastern Europe, showcasing a diverse range of queer cinema that pushes boundaries and promotes equality.

“Weglopers” is part of the “Gay Love Stories” lineup and is up for the Best Short award.

The festival is happening in a hybrid format this year, with physical screenings in eight Polish cities from April 5th to 13th, followed by an online run from April 18th to 30th, restricted to Poland.

Director Brandon Oelofse attended the festival at the Kinoteka in the Palace of Culture in Warsaw. The festival will also hit cities like Wrocław, Lodz, Szczecin, Kraków, Konin, Gdańsk, and Poznań.
